Blue House says U.S. Forces Korea should stay even after peace treaty

November 26, 2019

The Blue House said that it is necessary for
the presence of U.S. Forces in South Korea to continue,… even after a peace treaty
is signed. Such remarks were made after Moon Chung-in,… President Moon’s special diplomatic adviser,
insisted on Wednesday the presence of U.S. troops in South Korea would no longer be justified
should the two Koreas formally end the Korean War. A Blue House official speaking under the condition
of anonymity dismissed the possibility, asserting that the USFK’s role as a mediator between
surrounding powers, such as China and Japan,… is critical. The official also confirmed that Pyongyang
was not among the proposed U.S.-North Korea summit sites that President Moon and U.S.
President Trump discussed on Saturday.

  1. It would be better if South korea declares itself as a new state of USA….Disband your puppet government and sit on US lap….😂😂😂😂It's like koreans never want full independence….like they've been doing since formation of korea.Former kings sat on qing's and japanese lap….Now north and south korea will sit on china's and USA's lap respectively….North korea might also welcome chinese millitary if US millitary doesn't leave….
