Casper Adjustable Bed Frames – Reviewing the Standard and Pro Models!

October 25, 2019

[background music] Sarah Riccio: Hey, guys, it’s Sarah from Sleepopolis,
and today I’ll be showing you Casper’s adjustable bases, both their standard model and the Adjustable
Base Pro. If you’ve been wondering how they differ,
how they work, which one might be best for you, stick around to find out. First, I’m going to show you the standard
model, which is just called the Casper Adjustable Base. Before we look at the features, I just want
to take a second to talk about setup. [background music] Sarah: It was actually fairly easy. Took me about 35 minutes to set the whole
thing up. I did it all using the manual that comes with
every Adjustable Base. It really does give you very easy to follow,
play-by-play instructions of how to set this up. However, because this base is mostly made
of metal, it’s very heavy. If you’re not going to take advantage of the
delivery service that Casper offers, in which they’ll come set it up for you, I would definitely
enlist the help of some of your stronger friends, just to make sure you don’t get hurt. It’s also worth noting that the delivery service
is free with the purchase of the Adjustable Base Pro, so not a bad idea. Another thing I want to mention is that you
might notice that I’m using the Casper mattress right now. You don’t need to use a Casper mattress. However, the folks at Casper do recommend
that you use a foam mattress. Even if it’s not Casper, using a spring mattress
is not recommended. All right, let’s see what the base can do. [background music] Sarah: As you might have guessed, the main
feature that the standard Adjustable Base model has to offer is full body adjustability. Using your remote — which comes with batteries,
by the way — you can raise the head of the base, the foot of the base, both at the same
time, lower them together or separately. It’s really up to you to create your own tailor-made
sleep experience. You can find the base position that’s most
comfortable to you. When you do find positions that you think
are perfect for you, you can actually save them to your remote. That’s a cool feature. Another cool feature is that there are two
preset positions that have already been preset by Casper, called Zero-Gravity and Anti-snore. Zero-Gravity puts your body in this position
where both the head and the foot of the base are at this angle that’s supposed to really
relieve pressure in your back and help blood circulation, make the sleeper feel weightless. It’s pretty comfortable. The Anti-snore preset position has the head
of the base slightly elevated. When you’re a little bit elevated, it keeps
your breathing a little more clear. Lastly, a feature that I think is pretty cool
is the base has USB ports on it, so you can charge your phone or other smart devices and
things like that. When it comes to the Adjustable Base Pro,
it does everything that I just mentioned, everything that the Adjustable Base, the standard
model, can do — again, all using the remote — but it does offer a few other special features. My personal favorite is the massage feature. Using your remote, you can activate the massage
setting on the head of the base, the foot of the base, get the vibrations going simultaneously. Again, you can play around with that, depending
on where you want the massage. Also, the Pro features wall-hugging technology,
which is going to save you on space, and also these under-bed lights which, in my opinion,
really adds to the ambiance. [background music] Sarah: Those are the Casper Adjustable Bases
in a nutshell. Well, guys, that’s it from me. If you want every last detail on these adjustable

  1. Hi, I have a question about split king adjustable base frames with 2 twin mattresses on it………If my wife or I roll into the center of the bed….does it present a problem with the mattress seam like not being comfortable or do the twin mattresses move apart to where you have to slide the 2 mattresses together every morning etc? I would like to get a split king adjustable base but dont know how it is when someone sleeps or rolls into the middle! Thank you!
