A conflict or disagreement bringing you to
court? Not so fun, eh? Remember that in Quebec, Manitoba and New-Brunswick, for civil stuff like bankruptcy, family law and good ol’ fashioned lawsuits, you can address the court in the official language of your choice. But wait, there’s more! For criminal stuff, like stealing a car or slapping your boss in the face, no matter where you are in Canada, you can ask to have your trial in either official language. I swear! It’s the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!
