Laws in the Official Languages – Constitutional Language Rights

Quebec, Manitoba and New-Brunswick, just like the federal government, must pass all of their laws in both of Canada’s official languages, and both versions of the law are equal. So, for example, if your spouse is being really annoying these days, you can always go read the Divorce Act in the official language of your choice and start dreaming of a day where you never have to share the remote control.
