THE USS CONSTITUTION VENIENCE STORE RETURNED TO THE WATER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN — THE USS CONSTITUTION IS RETURNING TO THE WATER FOR FIRST TIME IN 2 YEARS. ANA MILER IS LIVE WITH MORE. Reporter: GOOD MORNING, ANARIDIS. AFTER 2 YEARS THE USS CONSTITUTION IS READY TO BE BACK IN COMMISSION. IT’S THE OLDEST WARSHIP AFLOAT IN THE WORLD KNOWN AS OLD IRON SIDE DURING THE WAR OF 1812. THE NEARLY 220-YEAR-OLD SHIP WAS PULLED FROM THE DOCK LAST NIGHT. SOLDIERS SAY THIS IS A WAY TO CONTINUE THE STORY OF MEN AND WOMEN IN THE NAVY. SO BY DOING THIS RESTORATION PROJECT WE ARE ENSURING THAT WE WILL CONTINUE ON BEING A PART OF THE NAVY, A PART OF THE FLEET.
