We, the students of PBCSD, celebrate Constitution Day 2019

October 8, 2019

“On September 17, 1787, 39 men gathered in
the Independence Hall in Philadelphia and signed The US Constitution, the
foundation of our democracy today.” “The Constitution is the supreme law of the land.” “Kind of the blueprint for how our government is structured.” “The rule of law. Any idea what that means?” “You’ve got to have an educated citizenry
and it starts at the public school level.” “I want to be a defense attorney. Since we’re the future, we need to know
about things like our laws. Our rights.” “These young students need to understand
what freedoms and liberties are afforded and what protections we have.” “I really
so impressed with Palm Beach County and what they are doing for our youth to
provide them civic education.” “We the people of the United States in order to
form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility,
provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the
blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish
this Constitution for the United States of America.”
