Well New Zealand’s sort of a beautiful society, it’s a coastal society, it’s basically a Western society, although it’s also fundamentally a pact between sort of, Māori and Pakehas as the first people here in a sense if you [inaudible] to that. That they have priority over the other people here in some constitutional sense, I think there’s a treaty of other reasons, I mean it’s a pack party centred on rugby. The Treaty of Waitangi for me is about, um, our responsibilities to the native people of this land. And um, it’s about teaching the breaches of the Treaty and hopefully repairing those breaches. The Treaty of Waitangi is also about our future, and ensuring that those mistakes don’t happen again.
